Ingels was born April 25, (a twin) in 1920 to Boone and Dorothy (Buckner) Ingels Sr. She taught Sunday school, volunteered as secretary, served as Circle moderator, a Moderator of Presbyterian Women, an Elder and the Clerk of Session for 25 years. Ingels was a past president of the Pleasant Hill Historical Society, serving as secretary; she also served the Cass County Historical Society as secretary.
Willis owned and operated Pleasant Hill Floor Covering from 1973 until 1982.She was a lifelong resident of Cass County, and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School with the class of 1938. She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Jane Daniel of Cambridge, Mass.; two great nephews, Kermit Daniel of Chicago, IL and Grant Daniel of Louisiana; one nephew, Richard Boone Ingels of Pleasant Hill; one great nephew, Justin Boone Ingels and one great niece Danielle Gail Ingels, both of Athens, GA; one niece, Mary Katherine Jenkins of St. She was preceded in death by her parents, Boone Ingels Sr. Casket bearers were Richard Jenkins, Richard Ingels, Frank Dinges, H.In 1940, she graduated with an Associate’s degree from Cottey Junior College in Nevada and in 1943 from the St. She continued her education with a degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1961, and she obtained her National Registry as a Specialist in Hematology in 1975.
